1. In a group of 2-4 people choose a topic. In the time allowed (20-30 minutes) gather as many facts as you can. Try to gather at least eight facts.

2. Read and write your facts as fast (and neatly) s you can. Be sure to use your own words. Choose one of the following two ways to record your facts:

• on a looseleaf page
• in Microsoft Word
• you could organize your facts into two columns: Facts We Already Knew and Facts we Learned

3. We will share these facts with the class.
